The Breakfast Club – Chatswood’s top morning spots
30 October, 2019
Going out for breakfast is one of the most enjoyable parts of the weekend. You don’t have to think about what you’re going to prepare or cook; you don’t have to worry about the clean up afterwards and you can just sit down and relax while someone else looks after you while you people watch.
Bacon and eggs for breakfast is a big staple in Aussie culture but sometimes it’s nice to have the choice of something else for a change. Café’s have noticed this and have been adding new and exciting brekky ideas to their menu ever since.
Caffe Cherry Beans
You’ve heard of the BLAT with bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato; Caffe Cherry Beans have changed it up to a CLAT. Replacing your typical bacon for chicken, and adding pesto aioli to the wrap, creates a whole new eating experience. A slight change makes a huge difference to your tastebuds. And for only $12.80, your wallet will be as full and happy as you are.
Locomotion
You can most certainly order your simple bacon and eggs at Locomotion, however, have you tried their Mushroom Roll for $13.50? By adding a little fungus to your brekky, you’re adding iron in the form of delicious. The ingredients alone get our tastebuds salivating. Fried egg with chimichurri mushroom, baby spinach, caramelised onion on a buttery brioche roll. We couldn’t think of a better way to start the day. Plus, it’s completely vegetarian, giving a little more option to those who don’t eat meat.
Saigon Rolls
Wait a minute, soup for breakfast?! Live life on the edge and head to Saigon Rolls, where you can have a nourishing bowl of pho or a fresh Vietnamese Roll filled with your choice of protein and delicious fresh salad.
And if you’re not really vibing with any of these, go grab yourself a classic Krispy Kreme doughnut and enjoy your sugar rush!
