We’re all for fuss free, easy peasy and healthy options this time of year and smoothies are totes where its at in Summer! Now, of course a good ol’ banana smoothie is a classic favourite, but we’re kicking things up a notch with these three unique yet undeniably delicious seasonal smoothie combos that will blow your mind upon the first sip!

Matcha comin’ at ya! Smoothie
Matcha is huge right now and we’re not only loving its gorgeous creamy pale green colouring, but its health benefits are pretty impressive too! Matcha contains kick-arse antioxidants and has metabolism boosting properties. And the taste? Rich, aromatic, vegetable with a sweet note that lingers after consumption. Here’s what you’ll need to make this gloriously green antioxidant packed summer smoothie:

½ a zucchini
1 big handful of spinach (baby spinach works well)
1 cup of apple juice (fresh if possible)
1 Tbspn Matcha Powder
1 small sprig of mint
A big handful of ice

Feeling Peachy Smoothie
They’re juicy, sweet and adorably fuzzy. Oh how we long for stone fruit season to hit, and peaches are a hands down favourite here! We are loving this peachy goodness smoothie recipe not only because it tastes like a tropical holiday in a glass, but bonus – its vegan too! This smoothie includes chai seeds which are high in fibre, protein and are packed with nutrients which your body will love you for. What you’ll need for this peachy potion:

2 juicy ripe peaches
1 Tbsn chia seeds
¼ cup rolled oats
½ frozen banana
¼ cup fresh orange juice
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 Tbsn agave syrup

Tickled Pink Rose Smoothie
Yes, these taste just as gorgeous as they sound, and yes.. they included roses. Well, rose water that is. Turns out, Dorothy the Dinosaur was totoaly onto something when munching on roses and we simply love this pretty smoothie concoction that will have you tickled pink with every sip. Its ultra-calming and soothes the senses with its heavenly rose aroma. What you’ll need for this pretty pink delight:

½ cup strawberries (again, frozen works best here)
½ cup coconut milk
½ cup coconut water
¼ teaspoon rose water
