Green tea is said to be one of the worlds healthiest beverages, and its consumption dates back to around 2737 B.C and is still consumed globally to this day (now that’s one popular drink!) Studies suggest that this glorious green tea can help with weight loss. So instead of buying yourself an energy drink before hitting the gym, take a sip on the green stuff. Some studies suggest that this elixir has fat burning properties. Ready for the techy research? It’s believed that polyphenolic compounds called ‘catechins’ produced in the brew stimulate fat oxidation and energy expenditure. This plus adding in exercise produces best results.
